Soho opened its first restaurant in Rio de Janeiro in May 2016, located at Marina da Glória, in an area of over 5,200 square feet. The 183-seat restaurant nestles in one of the most beautiful postcards in the city. The menu is developed by acclaimed chef Rafael Hidaka (former chef at Mee), holder of a Michelin star. The architecture project was signed by Ivan Rezende, who designed different environments using cobogó style and enhancing the concrete-wood contrast. Founded in 1998 in Salvador, capital of Bahia, Soho brought to Rio the concept of fusion cuisine, combining the best of the Japanese gastronomy with Asian varieties. The wine list, created by Patricia Penha, is one of the restaurant´s attractions, and 1,100 bottles rest in the acclimatized wine cellar. The labels are separated by grape types, making easier for clients.
